ClearlyContacts.ca had a free glasses sale. I'd had been eyeing up a certain pair of
Derek Cardigan glasses for a few weeks, so I impulsively snatched them before they sold out. Today (only two days later!) they were waiting for me on my doorstep when I go home for lunch.
So, in a most slow and suspenseful manner, here they are:

Aaaand, of course you probably want to see how I look in them, so here you are:
I'm very pleased with them. I'm not used to wearing glasses outside of right before bed, so they'll take a little getting used to, especially since the frame is a different shape. Overall I'm very pleased. And, if it turns out they aren't working for me, I can send them back to Clearly Contacts within 30 days.

I love your new specs!!! You look adorable in them and you will stop noticing the frames in a few days.
Thanks! I've stopped noticing them already, actually. I have to drive 4 hours tomorrow though, so I'm not sure if I can hold out without sunglasses.
I need to find non-ugly wraparounds.
Very cute! I quit wearing contacts years ago because I was allergic to them, so have been back in glasses ever since. Though I like how I look without glasses, they're a lot easier than contacts! ;-)
