I've been really tired this week. I generally blog right after I hop out of the shower so I can do something productive while my hair dries enough to put into rollers, but lately I've been too exhausted to shower at night (I do it in the morning instead then throw my hair up). I think it's my body telling me that I need a vacation.
And I'm going on one! But even though we leave in EIGHT days I feel under-prepared. We have tickets and a place to stay, but other than that our itinerary is blank. I'm a big planner, so it's bothering me. But at the same time I'm not sure how to plan. My first step is creating a list of all the things we want to do, then mapping it out. We'll be mostly walking so it makes sense to do things all in one part of town.
If anyone has any suggestion as to what we should do (and yes, Broadway is on the list), please let me know! In the mean time I'm getting inspired with New York songs and photos.
Ryan Adams *swoon* I love this song, this video and everything it represents, even as a Canadian.
I lurve her hair and dress. Can I look like this, pretty please?
I must say I identify with Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face more than in Breakfast At Tiffany's. Oh that bookstore!
I need to start a list of what to pack for clothing. Our flight leaves Edmonton at 1 am and we arrive in New York at 10 am - I was thinking of wearing sneakers, capris and some sort of comfy blouse I can nap in. Any pother suggestions? I'm also going over this timeline checklist by Apartment Therapy as a guide on how to prep our house while we're away.
