I feel like I'm not capitalizing on how long my hair is. It rests on my shoulders when it's straight, but my rollers are too small and shrinking even further due to use and so my hair curls too tightly. So before I go chop, chop I am experimenting with looser curls. Here was today's attempt:
The first photo is what it looked like when I left for work Friday, the second is when I brushed it after coming home.
(On a side note, that is red lipstick I'm wearing in #2, but I do like the pink...)
But this is merely the beginning of the hair experimenting. I want to some other sponge roller combinations (these were the biggest ones on the top two layers and the next biggest on the bottom) and pillow rollers. I also bought 1/2 inch "super rollers" to test out and MIGHT even give pin curls a try.
Stay tuned!
Both looks are absolutely lovely and very becoming on you. I adore pillow rollers and use them on a fairly frequent basis. Rag curls are another fave, and are especially nice because you don't have to shell out anything to get them (assuming you have some sturdy scraps of fabric on hand to use as the rags). Can't wait to see what the curls you're going to share with us! :)
Thank you very much for your comment on my Dairy Queen post. You're so right about small town ones often being better than those in large cities. I noted that when I moved from the Okanagan to Calgary in my late teen years, and again later on when I was living in Toronto. So happy to be back in little ol' Penticton with its one, delicious DQ.
Wishing you a fabulously lovely weekend!

The experiment turned out beautifully. Looking forward to seeing more! :-)
